How we handle your data

This notice explains how we handle personal data collected through the MatchComm waiting list at matchcomm.com. It covers the pre-launch waiting list only. A separate, expanded Privacy Notice will apply to the MatchComm app once it launches.

01Who we are

MatchComm is operated by Joe Reid, trading as Stratavue.

02What we collect

When you submit the waiting list form, we collect:

• Your email address (required)
• Your name (optional)
• Your club name (optional)
• Your role at the club (required)

We also automatically log technical metadata for security and abuse prevention:

• Your browser user-agent string
• The referring URL, if any
• A timestamp of when you submitted

We do not use cookies or tracking pixels. We do not collect or process payment data.

03Why we collect it

• Consent: you provide your contact details voluntarily so we can email you about MatchComm.
• Legitimate interest: we keep a brief technical log (user-agent, timestamp) to prevent abuse and verify legitimate signups.

04Where it is stored

Your data is stored in Supabase, a managed database service we use. Our specific database is hosted in the London (eu-west-2) region in the United Kingdom. Your personal data does not leave the UK in normal operation.

05Who we share it with

• Supabase processes your data on our behalf as a data processor.
• Vercel hosts the matchcomm.com website. Vercel does not receive your form data — submissions go directly from your browser to Supabase.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or analytics third parties.

06How long we keep it

We keep waiting list data until 90 days after MatchComm publicly launches, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever is sooner. After that, your data is permanently deleted.

07Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@stratavue.co.uk. We respond within 30 days.

08Children

MatchComm is intended for adult members and administrators of amateur football clubs. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted the form, contact us and we will delete the entry.

09Updates

We may update this notice. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a revised effective date.
